Sex and Technology

Each year, the role that technology plays in our lives evolves. As new innovations, advancements, and trends emerge, we as clinicians must remain curious to the ways technology influences our sexual and relational lives. This course will focus specifically on how AI is impacting relationships, organized around two central questions: When is the use of AI helpful in developing meaningful relationships, and when is it detrimental? As sex therapists, how do we help relationships navigate this landscape and develop healthy boundaries and digital hygiene practices? This will be a discussion-heavy course, not designed to provide participants with a definitive answers to these questions, but rather, to expand our thinking, invite new questions, and consider multiple perspectives.

This course meets the criteria for the following Core Knowledge Content Areas: K.

Join us via Zoom to participate. Participants must attend in full to be eligible to receive CE credit for the course. This course is only available to attend live, and will not be recorded for later viewing.

The Zoom link will be distributed to all registered participants 24 hours before the course is scheduled to take place. Registration after this time is not guaranteed, but can usually be accommodated by emailing info@ssshealthcenter.com and letting us know you’d like to join.

This program meets the requirements for the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 3 CE credits for each course.
