Skills Training- Disability and Sexuality

Disability is not something rare that impact a few individuals; disability is a normal part of the human experience, and able-bodiedness is only ever a temporary state in a person’s life. In the course, participants will look at the intersection of disability and sexuality, examine and critique our culture’s avoidance of disability, identify the role of shame inherent in ableism, consider overlaps between disability and ageism, and more.

Join us via Zoom to view this training. Participants must register for class by 5pm the day before. In order to receive CE credits, you must complete the evaluation form that will be sent to you.

Participants who are enrolled in South Shore Sexual Health Center’s Sex Therapy Training Program should email info@ssshealthcenter.com to register for this course.
