February 26, 2027: Skills Training - Heard it Through the Grapevine: Queering Elder Sexuality

$240.00

Presented by: Jane Fleishman, PhD, CSE and Joseph Winn, LICSW, CST-S

What does queer elder sexuality mean to you? How does your own sense of aging cast a new sense of sexuality and mortality? Using a multi-modal approach, a sex therapist and a sexuality educator will take you through a whirlwind of the most up-to-date information about queer elders’ sexualities in this unique program. Guided by research and practical applications, participants will gain a new perspective on their aging clients in the LGBTQ community. Focusing on a biopsychosocial approach, the instructors will delve into clinical challenges using case studies. And by working together as a class, you will be creating your own resource team for working with disenfranchised and disavowed older queer couples and individuals. Join Joseph Winn, CST, and Jane Fleishman, CSE for an in-depth and practical session.

Join us via Zoom to participate in this training. Participants must attend in full to be eligible to receive CE credit for the course. This course is only available to attend live, and will not be recorded for later viewing.
